PHOBIAS

Phobias prevent as many as one in three adults, teens, and children from seeking regular dental care. Up until now, sedation has been the only consistently effective solution for these patients to receive the dental care they need … and sedation can be expensive … and risky, especially for young children. Mighty MolarMan & Friends capture the hearts and imaginations of the millions of children with dental phobias and special needs, lifting fear and anxiety, and making dental appointments fun!

THE MAGIC OF MOLAR TOWNE

Including Mighty MolarMan in the new patient visit process and subsequent appointments, from beginning to end, is extremely helpful. In fact, we call it The Mighty MolarMan Experience, and it all starts with “Molar in the Mirror” and the Mighty MolarMan plush toy.  From the moment kids open the book, they are drawn into an amazing world called Molar Towne.  Parents are also encouraged to visit mightymolarman.com with their kids to see all the fun characters of Molar Towne.

MIGHTY MOLARMAN TO THE RESCUE

Kids just love watching Mighty MolarMan in action, dancing to “The Mighty MolarMan Song”.  The day before the appointment, they receive a personal and encouraging message via e-mail or text from the SuperHero of Smiles himself! When the child arrives for their appointment, they can’t wait to get started because they know that Mighty MolarMan is always watching.  The experience doesn’t stop at the dental office.  Once the children get home, they can’t wait to get online and explore the website and continue reading “Molar in the Mirror”.

Their enthusiasm to maintain good dental hygiene and health thus continues, especially when the Mighty MolarMan plush toy is hanging in the mirror above the sink where they brush. The SuperHero of Smiles is always watching …

Written by Dr. John U. Bond

The creative visionary behind Mighty MolarMan & Friends, and The Mighty MolarMan Experience, is Dr John U. Bond, dentist and entrepreneur in Dallas, TX. As a newly minted graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr John U. Bond began practicing in 1990 and immediately went to work creating innovative ways to improve patient care ... increasing efficiency and making the entire experience comfortable ... even FUN ! He created Mighty MolarMan & Friends to educate families about the importance of good dental health, and to help children get excited about coming to the dentist. Dr. John U. Bond was named HealthCare Innovator of the Year by The Dallas Business Journal in 2008 for improving total patient care for families. Dr. John U. Bond's current focus is in leading his Molar Towne Productions Team in sharing Mighty MolarMan & Friends with dental professionals, charitable organizations, educators and families globally. The Mighty MolarMan Experience is revolutionizing how children feel about the whole dental experience ... and thanks to this Disney of Dentistry, the millions who suffer from dental phobias and those with special needs finally have a solution! Humbly raised in a very small town in North Louisiana, this former 4-sport dedicated athlete is usually dressed for a workout ... his quarterback towel dangling from his athletic shorts .. "always ready for a game to break out ... hey, once a QB, always a QB ... ". Dr Bond enjoys family time, coaching his two sons in their sports endeavors, and continuing their "country boy education" outdoors whenever possible.
